Judicial Portrait Collection
Groups or individuals who wish to promote the pictorial history
of the Supreme Court and honor a past or present justice may
commission a portrait. The TSCHS will assist donors by providing
information about commissioning a portrait and by coordinating
the dedication ceremony. Contributions are tax deductible.
Tours of the Supreme Court Building
Tours of the Texas Supreme Court courtroom, portrait gallery, and judicial complex may be scheduled through the Court Clerk's office. Tours will be conducted by Society staff, court personnel, or one of the justices (by special request). Courtroom tours should be scheduled two weeks in advance, and gallery tours, five days in advance. Groups may be between 5 and 75 people. Each tour will last between 20 and 30 minutes, and are contingient on staff availability. Tour reservations may be made with Blanca Valdez in the Court Clerk's Office, 512/463-1312.
